Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Spira freediving and apnea training app and related services (the "Service"), provided by Spira ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Spira you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account or via the account deletion guide.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Spira offers a free tier and paid subscriptions with a 7-day free trial.
• Web subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record. App-store subscriptions are billed and managed by Google Play.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period. Refunds are handled in line with the applicable store or payment-provider policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Service;
• Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
• Misuse buddy-monitoring or social features to harass or endanger others.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, content, design, and trademarks, is owned by Spira and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Your training data remains yours.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Spira is not liable for any injury, loss, or damages arising from your use of the Service or from breath-hold training undertaken with or without it.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use of Spira after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
